Our last day as Stingers today, and our last day as an administrative duo after 10 years of working together. Godspeed Stingers. Thank you for 5 years of memories and smiles. We will miss you, and we wish you all the best. Godspeed.
Congratulations to our Grade 2 students for receiving the sacrament of First Communion today. Many thanks to Father Ian and Mrs Ritch-Schaffer, Mrs. Mullen and Mr. brown for a beautiful celebration.
Austin and Mr. Munaro we’re not wearing the team colours during last night’s game…..that’s why the Leafs lost. We won’t make the same mistake tomorrow!
Bitter sweet…. We are happy for Mr. Slade for becoming the new head custodian at BM…. But we are so sad to see him. Thank you for all you have done for St Michael School and the students and staff! We will miss you!
Celebrating Stinger Mr. Chaput at the WCDSB Retirement Dinner tonight. Thankful for his years of service that enriched the lives of so many WCDSB students, families, and staff.
Congratulations to Ivana… the St. Michael VIP Award recipient… given to a student to recognize their efforts in creating a positive, kind, compassionate and welcoming community.
Not a regular June day at St. Michael's. And, not the way we expected to end our time with some special students who are leaving us... Our grade 8 grads. Still proud of them and missing this time together.
4 St. Michael Stinger’s were part of the championship team for the Ontario Indoor Cup in Vaughn today with Ontario Soccer. They went Undefeated! Way to go girls!
This family just shared a very interesting fact with me. Can't believe I didn't know this! Stinger Grad Class of 2020... they started JK with a fire, and finished gr. 8 with a pandemic!

Getting caught up….. students who have not been able to receive the sacrament of First Communion for the past 2 yearrs due to COVID-19…..Received the sacrament today. Congratulations!
Congratulations primary Stingers on doing so well with your masks and social distancing. We will keep practicing our Frankenstein arms so that we can safely remove our masks outdoors.
Thank you Nathan Ingram for teaching us about Guatemala. We are excited to learn more as we "adopt a village" to help with new roads, clean water, medicine, and education.
So thankful for this wonderful Stinger mom, Mrs. Bier. She was recognized tonight as the St. Michael Volunteer of the year for her many ongoing contributions to our community.
So lucky to have our student teacher, Ms. Fletcher, share her Irish dancing with our primary students today. It took 18 years of work and practice to do this! Helped our Stingers see that work and practice pay off!

Ms. Ritch's class used their literacy and numeracy skills while at Algonquin. They did health and safety around the campfire and created s'mores. Students built forts ahead of time. A great day for Stinger grade 1s and 2s.
