Apex Mobile was in line to get a small scale mobile exclusive map, most likely for the Blitz mode (faster circles and shorter cooldowns, less players). The minimap is just an aerial view and not properly built yet. It was added into the Season 4 files.

Apex Legends will be returning to the mobile platform sometime in the future as a reimagined experience. Battlefield will also be returning to mobile but as a cross platform experiment. I’ll post the full details later on when the Mericans are awake.
