Absolutely wild that my sister’s doc The Program, is still sitting at #1 in the US, #3 globally, and in the top 10 in countries all over the world. I am so proud of her years of hard work getting this made and grateful that the survivors of these programs are finally having their voices heard and believed. #TheProgram #iseeyousurvivor

🎵 I took the drugs and the drugs are working 🎵 My drive thru consumption has plummeted since starting GLP-1s. Overly processed food is just so wildly unappealing. (That being said I did go to @tacobell tonight for Girl Dinner™️ because it is a quick, easy way to get some protein when you are in a pinch and nothing sounds good.)

My correct opinion is that her hologram should be the only one performing the National Anthem ever for all of eternity
Here is your yearly reminder that Whitney Houston sang the best ever rendition of the National Anthem, and it will never be topped. We should play this video before every Super Bowl. Thank you.

I hate how the Body Positive and Intuitive Eating movements had me so anti-health for so many years because they correlate improving your health as being pro-diet culture. Very thankful for Ozempic et al for allowing me to re-connect with my body and natural hunger cues for the first time in decades and rediscover the joy of taking care of my physical health. And very thankful to have disconnected from the harmful side of the BoPo and IE movements.
Wellness is so much fun when you stop viewing it as a chore and more like continuous love letter to your body

@NTFabiano Fun fact! Taking Ozempic gives you the brain space to be able to finally invest in these things

I carry a kubaton and the faux cat (1&2 in the video) since surviving a brutal pit bull attack. Wouldn't have stopped a pit but they do give me some peace of mind as they would slow a human man down. Also a birdie alarm. Would like to get a gun though!! Also pepper gel instead of spray! Has better aim and less risk getting in your eye too. Wasp spray in every room in my house.

@AniseNot Drives me bonkers when people rag on people for rehoming their pets. Why would you want an animal to stay with a family that's not the best fit for it??

I thought I had a really good chat with my new PCP like we were new girlfriends, then when I looked at my chart the next day I saw that "Body Dysmorphia" had been added to my list of conditions
“you’re so funny” thanks 45 seconds after meeting my new primary care doctor she asked if I had ever been clinically diagnosed with OCD

@reallyoptimized @DrPaulMason Yep indeed, I've been on the starter dose of tirzepatide the whole entire time with no plan to go up. Low and slow is the way to go if you ever want to get off the meds and keep the weight off

For sure. I could be upping my strength training A LOT. I'm really doing the bare minimum and still gaining muscle mass. There's a lot of fearmongering around these drugs when in reality most people on them are having fairly routine results and experiencing normal muscle mass change that happens during weight loss (most people don't realize lean muscle mass is normal for ANY weight loss, it's not a GLP-1 specific phenomenon).

@EddieWhoWrites I think this was exactly a year ago? I believe the LA premiere was a week or so before the 3/6/24 Netflix debut
