"There has been an uptick in creative spaces appearing in disused buildings. We’ve become part of that, taking on old draughty spaces which are given over to creative endeavours much like the old loft spaces of Brooklyn a few generations ago in New York. Artworks by individuals at HMP Greenock are on display @thebeaconarts until January. The exhibition explores issues around self-control and willpower and is a culmination of over a year's collaborations by the Fife College Art classes within the prison. Check it out if you can!
