How do you manage to miss the easiest plot lines to understand? Sticking to ur moral codes is a major theme in op, Luffy, Ace, Zoro, nami, etc all do it. 2, he called Robin cuz he knew she could handle BM, Robin literally thanks him for calling for her. Comprehension is key.

he was skinny when he hit Kizaru, not g4 , and Kaido ate a gatling of those without any issue and didn’t even get him on his knees. Also luffy was in giant form when he hit lucci so that attack could’ve been stronger than the one used on Kizaru.
