@zackkanter @paulg not so much a mistake but a necessary stepping stone you add adjectives to things that majority of people don't quite understand as soon as 70-80% of cars are driverless, the nomenclature will switch: driverless cars = cars cars (of today) = human-driven cars

@mon__lim best move is to own it! post more satirical content as a VC feigning having a life as hard as a founders, and people will actually love you for it basically the tai chi of content

@paulg I almost wrote an anti-trump children's music album in 2016 I cannot even fathom how unbelievably dystopian and cringe that would have been grateful my lazy moderate side got the best of me

I call this genre of cringe "brand dissonance" if your brand is super buttoned up like mindbody here, being silly is really cringe behavior needs to align to what people expect from you, even more than what they want in general this is why democrats get hammered about corruption while trump can drop a meme coin and no one says anything - one is off brand while the other isn't

@alyssakrejmas "let me know when you're free or if it's easier, feel free to grab something that works for you here: [calendly]" there you go. efficient while still preserving stupid cultural tradition akin to kissing the feet of elders or talking about the weather for 10 min before a meeting

@gregisenberg criticism of startup ideas is definitely helpful but extremely negative people are often dealing with something personally themselves
