And that I used to think, as a kid during the siege, that ICAR was some sort of an amazing delicacy.
And the shock on my dads and grandmas face when I asked why we'd stopped having it after the siege...in like 1997 or so.

It seems like both color and height are on the same scale ATM.
Would it work if the color was on the log scale while the height is on linear or the other way around?
Finding the 18ms one on linear could be easy (given a11y is ok with them) with color alone on the graph.

I have the same feeling on how that was taught here in Bosnia too. The terms used to describe it and the focus on the gain rather than process were more along the lines of winning or losing a sporting contest rather than the suffering of those on whom it happened to.

I kinda disagree. Uglified JS exists to combat a problem. WASM is becoming more and more a thing as well.
Source maps are an elegant solution for a more civilized age. I'd rather advocate and encourage that, along with open source, which can provide even more learning context.

Just because it's done one way, doesn't mean we can't do it better.
I agree with the message of teaching, but not of stagnation.
It's a bit like cherishing diagnosing-by-slicing live subjects, while having access to the tools like holodecks and non-invasive scanners.

My thinking here is that with linear, the relative comparison of height might be important.
On the other hand the color can't quite be easily relatively compared instinctively (at least I can't), but could be used to tell the two relatively similar lines aren't quite the same.

Yes, but I'm not sure this is a react-window issue. I can reproduce the same with the windows file explorer. It seems like windows has two implementations of the scrollbar, one which has this bug, and one which doesn't.

Virtualized Collection as a viewport for culling arbitrarily pos'd and sized el's within.
Wish this kind of windowing (predetermined pos and dimensions) was in react-window.😢
Biggest gripe: Wish that passing an inner component was a thing, for stuff like custom scrollbars.

Also, anecdotally, I mostly notice "TS tunnel vision" manifesting as forgetting/not being aware that TS isn't there at runtime or for non-TS consumers (if it's a consumable API).
"I've put `x: string` there and `x` is guaranteed to be a string from there!"

I see this as ensuring that our public API only has good data to work with later down the line.
In this case TS is just "extra" for those that use it
The only reason I see in not doing this would be if we're do-or-die perf hunting

XState Inspector is 😍. Tho I feel it has some friction.
It's a📦, loaded at a specific time, plus you have to mark each interpreter with the `devTools: true`.
Would be neat if it could be an extension with a DevTools panel, and interpreters 🎣 up automatically in dev mode.

"Moar options" approach I guess is a log/linear toggle.
But before conceding to that, other outlandish solutions:
- Both, linear going down, log up
- Single bar, both scales

I wouldn't be too hot on avoiding indentation 😁, "\" vs "+" are about the same evil, plus the extra wrappers for variables in the template literals.

I'm under the impression that it's an org level issue, which seeps into individual thinking due to exp. in those orgs.
Those who pay usually don't assign value to AT as it's not tangible or flauntable. When push comes to shove, it seem to always be first on the chopping block.
