Optimize for execution. Identify your tasks and get it done! Whether at a job or your business, complete assigned tasks. Get things done. No one really cares about your opinion online. That's secondary. It's just noise if you're unable to deliver.
Turns out you can fortify yourself against all the noise, and inner and outer (non-constructive) critique, by simply biting down and completing your daily tasks.

The "different worlds" I referred to was actually in their job roles & and responsibilities, not their regions. I believe that greatly impacted their approach to the panel discussion. So yes, I agree. If she was a group MD, their views might have aligned more closely.

They’re coming from two different worlds, so it’s no surprise their takes were so different. Tony’s a founder & all about the big picture, driving investment into Africa. Tan’s a hands-on CEO, deep in the day-to-day, making sure the playbook actually works.
I watched the panel session of UBA's Tony Elumelu and Tan Su Shan of Singapore’s DBS Bank at the Qatar Economic Forum. It was fascinating to see how these two banking executives approached the same questions. One gave actionable insights. The other was bland and basic. 😕

Going after the govt may seem trendy and a quick path to going viral, but most of these hot takes lack depth. Just because a country discusses AI or blockchain doesn't mean it's ignoring education or infrastructure. These problems are complex and never fully solved anywhere.

If you experience lower activity on LinkedIn. Sometimes it’s the algorithm reacting to your silence and less about the content. The algorithm often cuts reach when activity drops. Start engaging more again. Comment and like others’ posts before pushing your own.

It’s a sad shortcut mindset rooted in ignorance & greed. They'll gamble on meme coins in the name of web3 & grind Cybex without flinching. Same approach many people have with tech skills, asking which is more lucrative & faster to learn.
There’d be way more well-off people in Nigeria if everyone just knew to: 1. Automate savings before spending. 2. Save at least 10% of their income CONSISTENTLY. 3. Invest those savings in low-risk mutual funds. 4. Leave it alone — and let compound interest do its thing.
