This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. John 3:19

Apologies, transposed a w over an h in your original comment. Funny how just one letter gave it a different meaning entirely. I'm also without sleep. Llms are a facade of mind, but they're the first empty vessels to really entrance humanity. The expert use language is a mirror we can't stop looking into, although it becomes less fulfilling as the exploration of its boundaries progresses. Looking back from the future, I suspect that it will feel eerily proper that they started off with language rather than bodies. But the probability that instantiation is necessary for real mind is high.

@DianelosG @IntuitMachine Rationality. Language is the building blocks of thought. Without the concreteness and orderliness of language, the thought is ephemeral. Why did God say anything at all? Why have a book?

@DianelosG @IntuitMachine Language is primordial. Intelligence and ability manifest it, pushing it from the conceptual to actualized. The world is made of language. It was there in the beginning.

Why is it inherently bad to despise a culture? I have serious doubts the guy was saying "hate Indians because they're brown". Harboring prejudice based on arbitrary indicators (race, sex, age, religion) should be relegated to the dustbin, but prejudice against terrible destructive cultural habits seems fair game. Open to having my mind changed, though.

@stocksnipa @unusual_whales Ask an llm how truly wealthy people spend money without losing wealth. It's all about managed debt and credit.

@starterpack360 @RealColinHudson @RampCapitalLLC @bryan_johnson People on snap (can) have jobs. Are you saying ppl with jobs who also receive snap benefits should get like tier two food options? I like your thinking.

@ScottAdamsSays Sooo, all my complex thoughts are a subconscious cover for my ego, so that it doesn't have to contend with the fact that I'm actually stupid?
