I'd bet right now if the AP started calling it the Gulf of Trump he'd welcome hem with open arms!
The White House has blocked the AP from the Oval Office for refusing to call the Gulf of Mexico the “Gulf of America”. Associated Press Executive Editor Julie Pace: “It is alarming that the Trump administration would punish AP for its independent journalism. Limiting our access to the Oval Office based on the content of AP’s speech not only severely impedes the public’s access to independent news, it plainly violates the First Amendment.”
