I love everything about this kid. Grif embodies what a good teammate looks like. His game is exploding on the scene as he continues to prove his ability to score at all three levels. Grif is next up in South Dakota.

Hoop City adds TWO of the BEST high school coaches in South Dakota to our coaching staff. BOTH coming off state championships at their respective schools, Ryker Kreutzfeldt (Mitchell) and Todd Neuendorf (Hamlin) will lead our 17U squad starting summer 2025‼️📈

Bittersweet evening for me. Spent this summer campaign with a group of young men that made me a better person & coach. I cherished all the days with these boys. As basketball players, they took over the scene. They embraced the Hoop City culture and made year one a STATEMENT.

Grifin Wiebenga (

) can play any position on the floor. His ability to score from the three, midrange, getting downhill/to the basket, and in the post makes him one of the best scorers i’ve seen in the ‘27 class. He is also a problem defensively! Grif is dominating.

Can’t have them all on the first team I suppose, but these two guys are definitely first team quality. Grif & Jase are both incredibly skilled, & their grit & competitiveness make them top college prospects in South Dakota. I absolutely love coaching these two for those reasons.
