Being ranked in South Dakota high school basketball as a player means absolutely nothing to the real world. Players, coaches, and parents get that out of your heads thinking that means something. Focus on getting better everyday and every chance you get.

Great read of players and coaches . Extra training shouldn’t hurt. College players do it and pro players do it. It’s not taking anything away from the school activities and it’s only for kids who want to get better. 2 hour practice isn’t enough to develop and get extra shots in.

I have so much respect for kids who just want to get better. I worked out a few kids this morning that I literally don’t have to ask to workout they ask me to workout. I do it for free because I respect it so damn much. A couple of them don’t even play for me.

AAU coaches shouldn’t be the only coaches to get the best out of their players. I see kids go play at their schools and get bottled up, but then I see them go play for their club teams against great players all summer and they turn up.

I remember setting good screens was a thing. I’m watching film of a lot of teams including mine and nobody wants to set tough screens.

I’m big on my team spending alot of time together off the court. Things are going to be great when we are winning, but when we lose these kids need to have a good enough relationships to hold eachother accountable and not turn their backs on each-other.
