@btharris93 👍 Have said for a while now that you can't defy the law of geographical spread in our voting system. They could top out in loads of constituencies yet still fall short, and you really need a strong infrastructure to run these campaigns efficiently (see Labour last year).

You call the SoS for Education a Marxist then talk about arrogance and less humility (after having the ear of govt for nearly 14 years), it's probably time for some self-reflection tbh. The vast majority of HTs don't wade into politics precisely for this reason...

@adrianhughes0 One suspects that the only route for either/both to end up governing is by some sort of strategic pact as they can't defy the law of geographical vote spread. The problem occurs in that case though with the scenario you've just described.

@Catus14 I could be entirely wrong here, but I have a hunch that when we get towards a few weeks before the GE, there'll be a lot of soul-searching from ppl who are happy to support the "rebels" in opposition but will always go for the tried and tested options in the polling booth.
