Just because a person with a disability isn’t presenting or organizing the event, editing that document, etc doesn’t mean those things should remain inaccessible. If we want our keynotes, directors and colleagues to be included, then provide access when no one is asking for it.

.@Zoom, please engage with ASL interpreters and Certified Deaf interpreters to improve your Sign Language interpretation view. It’s just not usable when there’s more than one interpreter. Once fixed, it would be a dream to have a file to download of just the interpreters. #a11y

disabled ppl are so cool. I have sm to learn. There is so much to learn. The crip knowledge and stories and experiences I learn change me every day. listening to disabled ppl unlocks and names an experience and nuance and it continues to bring my joy and gratitude
