I saw this #vinyl 12 inch in a #charity shop by #September and thought maybe a) #Slowly was a cover of the #Frida track on #Shine and that b) the #BSide #TheLoverInMe was a version of the #SheenaEaston track - they’re not 🤣 - but there is a #Razormaid remix ❤️

@madlove1980 Yes #APrivateHeaven is an incredible album but I was always partial to #TheLoverInMe too - I could never understand why #DaysLikeThis didn’t follow #TheLoverInMe into the Top 10 and #101 is a classic, keep hoping it might have a #KateBush / #SophieEllisBextor style renaissance

Happy 35th to #SheenaEaston's #DaysLikeThis - the follow up to #TheLoverInMe was released #onthisdayinpop in 1989 (while that latter song was still at no.2 on the Hot100)! Loved the "Here Comes The Bride" intro before it launches into a poptastic funk fest.
