Loved the #TearsForFears #SeedsOfLove era - and 35 yrs ago, #onthisdayinpop in 1990, they released the 3rd single from that opus. Curt sang this one (the only one he sings on the LP) & it was remixed for single release. Great song - loved all the limited editions we got too!

40 yrs ago #onthisdayinpop in 1985 #Madonna mania began in earnest in the UK when the material girl released #MaterialGirl. Her second top 3 smash - and the second of NINE (!!) top five hits she would have in a 14 month window here in Blighty! Phenomenal!.

33 yrs since the follow up to #Shanice's #ILoveYourSmile came out - #ImCryin' was released in the US #onthisdayinpop in 1992. Did love this heartfelt/heartbreak ballad - just missed the top ten on the US R&B charts. Shanice always gave good slow song!.
