I was seconds away from walking into a bathroom during a thunder storm. Lightning struck a tree outside the bathroom, lightning jumped to the house, shattered the mirror, impaling glass in the door/wall, sent the plug cover flying across the room. Consider me emotionally scarred.

Edmonton Oilers are book people! Talked about the Governor's Cup with Skinner & Erne and how hockey is growing around here. They both mentioned that it's more fun playing Carolina the past few years because of the packed house.

Talking hockey with customers as I ring them up. One mentioned they went to a Canes game last week, was pretty fun. And that she went to the Olympics in 1980 and caught a pretty good hockey game there. They made a movie about it... I might have just stared for a moment too long
