As I took my son to early morning ROTC duty, I was behind three elementary buses. I watched parents stand in the dark as they watched their WHOLE WORLD get on the bus to come to school. Let’s remember our classrooms are filled with the WHOLE WORLD of others. #teachersareheroes

The sweetest moment!! Seeing @ana_aestrada who is an administrator in Richmond today, but in 1993, she was a 9th grader in my English class at Hampton High School. I’m so proud of this young woman, soon-to-be Dr. Ana Estrada! ❤️🦀🥰
