Today was the first big update for Among Us since the team grew to 9 people. Despite all of the chaos, the stream, and trying to keep up with feedback, we've already managed to fix nearly every bug that has been brought to our attention from today's launch.
This team is awesome.

I am sorry for adding horses to Among Us. I know now that what I did was wrong. In the future I will strive to do better, like perhaps by making the crewmates all frogs or something instead. Definitely not horses, though. Sorry for the horses

We have four maps, all with very different layouts. You're right that a game like Among Us benefits from certain map design, but you can change the gameplay significantly by changing the map layout. (Which admittedly Imposters slightly did with that extra hallway I mentioned)

This is the mistake we made when we were pitching Super Daryl in 2016. Our demo had a spectrum of bad to great content in it (placeholder text, unfinished art), but the proximity to the finished assets made it seem like those bad things were just bad and not placeholder.
What's more, avoid showing too much quasi-final form. It's better to have lots of clearly bad things and describe/concept the final form than to have some bad, okay, good, and great things mixed up.
