This ridge divides water into east flowing river(Hemavati) towards Bay of Bengal or west flowing(Netravati) into Arabian sea. It's near a scenic place called Bisle Ghat in Sakleshpur taluka of Hassan dist. Incidently it was my first posting in KN as AC & SDM Sakleshpur sub div!!

The only forest area in Kalaburgi district, Karnataka is in Chincholi taluka. Forest area around Chandrampalli dam is still quite dense in patches and offers good trekking routes. Just completed one with senior officials to spread awareness about forest.

It's 4 month program and classes would be before and after school.
