Takeaway: don’t tell women to ask for the raise, speak like a man, or other things that work for you. Women are rational, if we’re doing something weird, fix the system, not us.

Utility classes: I'm not in a mood to be erased today. I was experimenting with utility classes in large production sites starting in ~2004. In 2009, I got brave and shared! I have receipts.✍🏻
Others released similar things in 2011-2014.

This obsession with government being run “like a business” has got to die. They literally have opposite goals! Government should exist to create equity. The whole point is that the mail gets delivered everywhere (even the middle of nowhere when it isn’t “profitable”).

Managers: if an URM works for you, their peer’s feedback will be *full of bias*. It’s literally your job to actively filter and correct for it. And help your report strategize ways to work around it. For women, look for bias keywords: abrasive, loud, pushy, not technical, etc

React should be built in to the freaking browser. You could easily build declarative equivalents for all the browser's APIs. If you did, you could probably dump the whole DOM API in 10 years because nobody would be using it anymore. They would realize there are better ways.
