@frank_hodgkins @yanisvaroufakis The strategic error was allowing itself to be used as a US battering ram to try and weaken Russia. Wasn't the fault of the whole country, but of a small, extreme group that has done very well out of the attempt, while the country, sadly, has been destroyed.

@FascistMurica @yanisvaroufakis If that is true, then why did everyone western nation get so heavily involved to the point of harming their own economies?

@frank_hodgkins @yanisvaroufakis A glance at history will suggest that no, they don't. The choice is to act in the world the way it is and find better paths forward, or keep thinking that the world is the way we'd like it to be and make huge strategic errors, as the US, EU and Ukraine have done.

@kobb @yanisvaroufakis Negotiate a common security architecture for all of geographical Europe (not just the political parts you can control).

@ZygmuntowskiJ @yanisvaroufakis The US is giving nothing. Losers in wars don't dictate terms. The US is smart enough to get out now and crafty enough to leave the mess for dumb European leaders to deal with. The US started it, Europe escalated it, Russia is finishing it - that's the current state of play.

@DustinMcFatass @DrGeneCallahan @JSHeappey I guess you can lead a horse to water but, if it doesn't understand what's right in front of its eyes, it's just as likely to piss in it than drink from it.

The snake starts to eat itself.
Zelenskys Dictatorship has imposed sanctions against the country's former president Petro Poroshenko. The decision was made by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and may involve initiating a criminal case against Poroshenko under the article "on high treason."

@DustinMcFatass @DrGeneCallahan @JSHeappey When you start throwing insults it's usually a sign that your argument has run its course. Take the L and learn to think more logically about events you're very far from geographically and even further from intellectually.

@DrGeneCallahan @DustinMcFatass @JSHeappey He's essentially saying that Ukrainians feels East because the West was blocked by ... Ukraine. Bizarre. Wonder whether he's just got his compass upside down.

Two cheeks of the same awful, jingoistic, genocide-supporting, party-petty, small minded and foul smelling backside. Britain today, not the Britain I remember:
Kemi Badenoch begins PMQs by asking Keir Starmer about a family of six from Gaza, who have been given refuge in the UK, through the Ukraine Family Scheme. The Prime Minister replied saying he 'does not agree with the decision' 📺 Sky 501 and YouTube
