I think the issue is in what type of gk'er we develop. We continue to develop solid shot stoppers, but the game has changed and progressed since the early 2000s and more is being required.
We need to change what our expectations of a gk'er is and develop that way.

Argument from authority is no argument at all. Mistakes, bad player and tactical decisions are made and even Gregg has made quick changes to fix them. But in the end, these are all just opinions, some more educated than others, and you can make an argument for any of them.
