Today family and friends of Chris Carberry celebrate the life of the courageous young man who inspired so many in his fight against bone cancer. Chris died peacefully at Willowbrook Hospice on 7 May. In his honour the Steve Prescott Bridge will be lit red, white and blue tonight.
Thanks to Pete Martin from Barrow Street Dental Practice, who was delighted to be able to respond to the local appeal for PPE. This is the second donation he has made to the appeal, more than 1,000 masks and 1,000 pairs of gloves have been donated.

Gill passed away at Willowbrook Hospice on Monday evening, aged 49.
