This is Holy Week. Y6 had a wonderful, reflective morning visiting our Church in the sunshine. We meditated at each station, which has been set up by Father Rob and the Parish, and hung a prayer intention on the branches of the magnolia tree. ✝️💜💟

On Monday 15th May, Nursery and Reception went on a walk to visit St George and St Teresa Church. We prayed together, talked about Mary and the Easter Candle and re-visited their learning on Baptism. All the children were gifted a candle by Father John.
Yesterday, we had our May procession and crowned Mary with beautiful flowers donated by our families. The children prayed the rosary and sang Marian songs reverently. What a wonderful occasion!
Following our KS1 assembly this week the children were showing how they could help others by being disciples of Jesus. They have understood that God calls us to share and show care for each other. Each child brought one piece of food into school for the food bank.
It was lovely to have Fr John, Fr Rob and Monsignor celebrate Mass with our community as well as StG&T alumni from
@StPetersSch
who served Mass so reverently

“Dear God,
I hope that no one gives up in this hard time.
We will get through this together.
I hope we can help the world in this difficult time.
If it is like this for a long time, I hope we will be strong and kind to each other.
Thank you God for all my hope.
Amen.” Bethany, Y2
We were delighted to welcome back Father Rob for Mass this morning. The children worshipped in a very reverent manner throughout. Father Rob was impressed during his Homily by how well the children knew the Easter story. Well done Year 4! ✝️
Our whole school community joined in - virtually - with Mass this morning to celebrate St Teresa's feast day. Thank you Fr Rob. Can you spot the art work crafted by Y1-3? Our KS2 pupils pre-recorded the readings too.🌹🌹
Reading clues and following instructions allowed Year Two to use their positional language knowledge. They worked collaboratively to see where the clues would lead. After each group created their own clues and created a map.
