They clearly haven’t watched Shogun, The Last Samurai or Pocahontas. A foreigner assimilating into a culture is a classic tale. We are also getting a Japanese protagonist which you can choose to play almost exclusively. I don’t see the problem

I think the stiff looking gameplay works. SH was always a little more stiff than RE and I think it helps build tension. Character models look a little dated, but the environments and atmosphere are really well done
