@WelshGasDoc I can (on a good day, with the wind behind me) get a gallbladder out in 20 minutes. A bear can do it in under 2 seconds. This does not mean you should let the bear 🐻 do it.

@TrevorPTweets Stuffing mouths with gold. What a thoroughly disgusting comment. It is pay restoration but you know that. ‘What did you get in return?’ I dare you to spend one evening shadowing a junior doctor. A man of your position and stature should know better.

@richlaing @DerekAOReilly @BJSurgery @des_winter @SAGES_Updates Watching this turned my stomach. It is not a question of ‘if’ this will cause an injury but when. It is not a ‘robot’ problem. It is ignoring the hard earned lessons of the last 40 years of laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

For residents watching this, there is a difference between a procedure that went well and a procedure that was safe. This technique abandons several of the key principles put in place to avoid catastrophic injury. For what, a 5ml port? People who do a lot of these would not recommend doing like this. @Augishealth
