I didn’t miss a Linfield home game in the time 500 fans were being allowed in and not once did I come into close contact with anyone upon leaving or entering the ground or watching the match. No reason why fans shouldn’t be allowed back in if close contact services are allowed
@OfficialBlues
So many negative comments 🤯. Team gave it their all tonight, certainly wasn’t tonight’s game that cost us the league. On to the cup final 💙
@KyleHoulihan1
@Portadownfc
So you’d be happy enough if Waterford signed a player who’s said he would love to open fire on a large proportion of your fan base?! Fair enough Kyle👍
@ManCity
Less of this joint statement bollocks. Stand up for our own. The scousers cannot behave and it’s been proven countless times. They threw missiles at us and Pep at Anfield and then had a statement out within 30 mins of FT condemning City fans for singing songs they didn’t like

We have been drawn away to
@OfficialBlues
Linfield in the Sadler’s Peaky Blinders Irish Cup.
This is what the irish cup is all about for small clubs like ours. Delighted!

@UEFA
Very good article. Also worth noting the queues and the bottlenecks caused trying to get into the stadium through the various lines of security and turnstiles. Also when we reached the car park after the game a UEFA offical with a speaker sent us the WRONG direction from buses
@OfficialBlues
Said before the window this league would be won and lost in transfer dealings this month. So far our squad has got WORSE whilst the Glens have strengthened. No more bullshit. Sign where we’ve blatantly known we’ve needed to for months
@CityzenAmerica
He’s not saying Americans shouldn’t do this for football but simply that it becomes a problem when it’s at the expense of loyal City fans here. American and British fan culture in sport is completely different and you lot don’t seem to be able to grasp that
@KevinORourke16
@NewryCityAFC
Newry support was great. Of the 50 or so standing down towards the Linfield end though not one was wearing blue & white stripes. Says a lot. Same crowd who then started firing stones at full time. Any proper Newry fan will surely agree you don’t want those sorts of people around
So Newcastle haven’t got a penalty for handball there because it hit Arsenal defender’s leg first. That happened against Akanji in Bayern game the other week and that was awarded?
@AndyBelfast
@OfficialBlues
We need a winger, a right back and a top striker. And we’ve know all of this for ages. Squad picks itself currently due to injuries and some players look tired but again our squad is too thin and this should have been addressed early in the window
@the_peakys
Will the IFA be party refunding my Linfield season ticket? I am living outside of NI this year and this is a rare game I am going to be back home for
@BelTel_Sport
@GrahamLuney
Bit rich coming from him after his performance in the Mid Ulster Cup on Tuesday night. It’s quite right that the standard of refereeing in this country has been called out because quite frankly it’s pathetic
@OfficialBlues
Brilliant challenge. But why didn’t the ref blow up if it’s a serious head injury? They blow up often enough when it’s not even a head injury. Took Shields getting clattered by Hughes (without a card) for play to stop. This is a disgrace
@City_Xtra
@Jack_Gaughan
Why hasn’t anything been done about Liverpool fans smashing City buses in 2014 & 2019 and throwing coins at our fans and Pep in October then?
Why no statements about fan behaviour after this game
@LFC
? Can’t find any evidence of songs you don’t like being sung at you? Ashamed of nothing, offended by everything. Always the victims 🐀 🐀
Disgusting behaviour from some Liverpool fans tonight at the Etihad. A full plastic pint pot with extra coin ballast thrown with full force from the top tier - hit a 15 year old child who now needs her head glued. Liverpool fans simply confirming their appalling reputation.
@LFC
"McDermott showed no class with his Twitter rampage - and also poor judgement. Suddenly rather than admiring what Glentoran were doing, opposition supporters were laughing at them."

@StevenBeacom5
gives his verdict of what's gone wrong at The Oval👇
@ManCity
Well done City on condemning a brick being thrown- certain other clubs would glorify that kind of behaviour 🧐. As for chanting there is nothing wrong with singing “always the victims, it’s never your fault” so stand up for our own ffs
