If this wis a bottle of champagne nobody would bat an eyelid. Instead of berating a 22 yr old working class lad done good, we'd be better served discussing the deep cuts to addiction support services. Otherwise, we're letting those in power off the hook.

How on earth does a statue of Engels go against solidarity with the Ukrainian people? Engels is literally German, this statue was installed with a celebration of Manchester’s collective history featuring local trade unions and anti-poverty campaigns. People have lost their minds

I went to view a flat in Govanhill which was filthy and the bathroom was covered in damp and mould. Not to state the obvious, but how the hell do we live in a country where it's legal for landlords to list flats for rent in that state. We all know it happens but it's not normal.

Very tired of people acting like ‘it’s just Celtic and Rangers fans fighting again’ when there is any kind of sectarian bother. The orange order is institutionalised bigotry and they are excused for it, anti-catholic hatred is very real- they are not ‘just as bad as each other’.

I mean, shy away from this all you like- these people don't control the Labour Party anymore. The question at hand is this, Do you think Labour caused the financial crisis in 2008, or was it actually in fact, hyper-unregulated capitalism?

I'm afraid the hard truth for Labour is that they were planning cuts deeper and harder than Margaret Thatcher. Those are them facts 👇

I’d like to take a moment to say how much of a fucking legend Bryan is. He was the first to encourage me when I joined the trade union movement 8 years ago, as he’s supported many young workers. No one is kinder, friendlier or cares more deeply about fighting injustice.❤️

Solidarity with all the brave people in Ukraine and Russia resisting war. Russia has no right to invade Ukraine, NATO and the west are no friends of peace. These can both be true at the same time. Sadly it is working-class people who pay the price for warmongering, not the rich.
