Cathedral community member Valerie is still in Kagera and shared pictures of their pop-up shops, selling calendars, pins, bags and more. Valerie herself runs a stall some Sundays at the Cathedral, selling goods from Kagera to raise money for various projects there.

February’s Dogs of the Cathedral Calendar models are Nyra, Jack and Coco who are Griffon Bruxellois. There are actually 7 dogs in these pictures as Coco was pregnant with four puppies! Dogs are welcome at the Cathedral, as long as they are well-behaved and on a lead 🦮

Yesterday, the Cathedral said farewell to Bishop Martin with his last services here before his retirement later this month. At the end of the 3.30 pm service, The Bishop was presented with the Bishop’s Standard in token of the duration of his Episcopacy. 📷 Keith Mindham

Thank you to all those who came out in the grotty weather for our Holocaust Memorial Day service in the Abbey Gardens. At 5.30 pm there will be a Holocaust Memorial Day Meditation in the Cathedral with the choir and tonight, the Cathedral Tower will be lit purple.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our first female Canon Precentor, The Rev'd Canon Katy Cunliffe. Katy will be Licensed and Installed on Sunday 1 June 2025. This appointment is subject to completion of legal formalities.
