Indeed, example: the airconditioning crew came to/into our house 2 weeks ago, we and them all masked but I heard sniffles and coughing, 3 days later message from company: crew all down with CV! Luckily we aired the house for 6 hours before unmasking! 😷

I had last week a similar discussion in Dutch with an IC-nurse. Her answer: “I will judge myself if it is needed or not” … not based on any scientific or logical evidence. Total lack of commitment and no efforts to protect patients or themselves.

Masks 😷 work: I was infected with Omicron at my work, I infected my wife but NOT my son (11 y) because we ALL immediately masked up in the house ( home isolation), ate and slept separately and after 10 days we are ALL clear!

Agreed! I just did a film-shooting for 17 hours (!) in a studio with smoke and (occasionally) running diesel engines with a Flo-mask and no problem at all. I used to get sick after such a day, without mask. Not any more!

You do what you can and have available. My family and me recently survived several long flight with coughing crew and passengers by always masking, even when eating, UV-c lights and nasal spray.

Yeah, it’s disappointing. I am the only one consistently masking at my company. Today one - unmasked- director told me he was unhappy that a few guys took sick leave because …Cvd! 🙄 I also hear more sniffing around me.

I doubt that international tourists will come back to Thailand when they are double vaccinated, tested negative before travel, still have to go through 7 days of Q. Only people who really need to be here will swallow this. Tourists will go to easier/cheaper places!

Just came back from the airport and noticed: most Asian people (99%) are well masked (KN94, N95), Western partner with Thai family are similar masked, Western tourists are not or rarely masked (1-5%) and cannot be bothered, it seems. Typical.

The history is very interesting but in my opinion the main hesitation to call CV airborne is the immense legal and financial complications that arise when companies, schools, shopping malls, industries, etc. have to provide cleaned, filtered air in their spaces.
