By 25, alcohol was my life. I would screw anyone over to keep drinking. I used to wake up withdrawing at 3 am; by 11 am I’d secure my first drink. I didn’t think stopping was possible. I didn’t know how I’d survive without it.

8 months later, I finally got my 4 month chip! Peter got his own chip, then we got lunch and ate all the calories we used to waste on booze. I did the math, I used to consume 1500-2000 calories solely from beer/vodka every single day😵💫
