@smallcapsteve @ztisdale I agree this won’t happen butttt educated citizens are arguably more valuable than resources, just look at East Asia. Compare Mongolia and Rural China to Singapore, Japan or Taiwan. I doubt anything like this happens but we should be prepared for a mass brain drain.

@FiresidePodcast Buffalo is filled with young, top end talent but they just can’t build a team culture. Calgary lacks any real top end talent but still manages to be somewhat competitive, every fricken year. The details need to be figured out but it just makes so much sense for both teams.

@LauraBabcock @MarkJCarney His specialty is printing money. He did the same thing in the UK. It helps when assets are volatile. It has the opposite impact when you’re in an inflationary period.

@Coffee17663726 @ScottSG88 @jakegobills @CanadianPolling @338Canada The conservatives biggest gains since 2021 have been in my specific age demographic, 18-29. The vast majority of those believe in things like climate change and reproductive rights. The conservatives have been smart, they kinda just ignore those issues, rather fighting them.

@RealSpennyWalks @Pete___Hughes More than likely The only thing that gives me a little hope, is his production when his teammates went to the world juniors When Philips wasn’t playing with top talent, he couldn’t generate anything When Misa’s two best teammates left, his production skyrocketed

@ArmandDoma - their supporters still defended them and vilified the other. For literally the exact same action. I can’t stand Trump and I get you sometimes have to fight fire with fire but the utter lack of consistency on both sides is just insane.

@Mitchell_AB To be fair, you can’t expect them to comment yet Federal Liberal MPs do the same thing This issue should be investigated and I suspect Smith will step down In the mean time, Canadians finally seem to understand the need for pipelines We need to get that ball rolling ASAP

@Pete___Hughes @RealSpennyWalks I like Misa but I never know how to evaluate guys like that. Some turn into Johnny hockeys but some turn into Matthew Phillips.

@raptors_in_fo @HoodiBrisker @Miaspurs_305 @_SchuZ_ @TheHoopCentral @ChrisBHaynes He’s all but extended. Raptors don’t want to win this year, even if they’re not tanking they’re eliminated from the playoffs. The only reason they’d make this move, is if they were confident in him signing.

@tubera_mark @Michael18022961 @SportsCenter He’s likely won’t developing the shooting of Kawhi but their defence is eerily similar and Barnes is already a better play maker. It also feels like the nba is changing, true #1s seem less important. Maybe that’s just recency bias with Boston but idk.

@speshkmusic Absolutely and even if he does return 100%, how good is that? He hasn’t even proven he’s an average NBA centre yet Though Wiseman is an average role player and Ingram has disappointed in recent years, they’re both still genetically gifted lottery picks There’s always a chance

@Tablesalt13 I bring this up because I’m not necessarily against all VAT taxes, they’re essentially tariffs. I’m even in favour of industry specific VAT taxes, but they can’t be for things as crucial as energy. They’re the perfect way to target low labour companies like social media.

@Tablesalt13 Actually, he now says he wants to reform/dissolve carbon tax 😂 I think I’d actually respect him more if he didn’t flip flop. Even if the tax is a terrible idea, show some consistency ffs.
