When Novak leaves tennis, I wont support any players the way I did with Novak. I have preferences e.g alcaraz and rune over sinner. But I literally have no emotional connection. If they lose I don't care as much. I'll just be hoping they don't get too close to Novaks records.

What happened? Where did it all go wrong? They were friends but then the ego and competitive edge took over. When Rafa dominated, Novak was fine. But when Novak started winning, Nadal turned into a hater. Nadals always been the problem.

Even after Djokovic retires it will be tough for me to support another player. I do like sinner and rune but djokovic will leave such a big hole in tennis for me that can't be filled when he leaves. Supported him who I identified with for over a decade? How do i replace that?

Such an iconic athlete. Love him or hate him, he had your attention. Without him, there would be no big 3, just fedal. He's the reason it exists because he joined as the last one when nobody else dreamed of joining let alone dared to.

Wimbledon 2019. Novak was clearly not at his best but Federer managed to pull out one last all time performance. Was so close. If he won that it would have been one of the best wins in tennis history. I can see why Federer fans were traumatised.😅
