In a new paper, we show that a supramolecular host recently used for disequilibrating azobenzenes (DESC) undergoes a quantitative transformation into a DESC-inactive host upon binding tetrahedral guests:

would you consider an advanced stage PhD researcher for a PhD position in your group, if they need to drop out of their PhD? The reason for dropping out is the supervisor blocking the thesis for no good reason.

.
So many corrections and versions from student(s) before my supervisor starts working on it.
Many students/postdocs are great in the lab but have problems in putting together a starting draft for a manuscript. For many PIs this is good enough, as they basically write the whole story. I say no, this is not good enough, and PIs must spend time to train them how to write!

Discontinuing KVPY, removing GST exemption for scientific purchase and now this...
While scientific community is already facing funding issues and fellowship problems - all these decisions hamper scientific progress.
Not sure what the government is aiming for!
The delay in the announcement of the S S Bhatnagar prize is a mark of indifference and disrespect towards young performing scientists in the country.
