Asher Aspes (‘25 GA) puts a charge into this one, one hopping the RF wall for a double. Strong frame & the ball jumps. #PGHS @PG_Uncommitted @WarEagleBsb

@pickleball_jedi I think you have the orgs confused? We’ve never changed any approvals. And the news on the blackout paddles was simply lifting the need for them at Challenger events. I thought that was a good thing…

Thanks @JohnkewPickle for coming down to Florida to check out the lab. This is a great insight into the testing and more importantly, the differences between the two approaches. #pickleball @UnitedPBAssoc

@MaggieMaeRem Pickleball has been the fasting growing sport for 4 years now. The scoring has not seemed to slow the growth down. In fact, it’s part of the initiation. It’s like poker, you have to learn the language (scoring in pickle, hand hierarchy in poker) to compete or follow.

@rousejosh It’s not apples to apples, so hard to say, different balls, different speeds, different methodologies in how we perform the tests. That being said, .405 is less than .43 and we expect that to be reflected in the paddles.

@chriscantino @pickler1234 @ZaneNavratil @USAPickleball I was playing with my 13 yo son at park today. Played against a guy with a crushed beyond belief MOD. Told him to put it down, he refused. I traded him my paddle and took it from him. It was genuinely dangerous. This is the only thing that can derail this sports’ growth.

@pablogalvz @PerformanceRich @franklyunaware @UnitedPBAssoc @USAPickleball The rules only apply for professional play at UPA events. If people want to use them at the local level, that is up to the tournament directors to decide if they want to follow what UPA is doing. UPA-A only regulates what happens at UPA events.
