@thesamparr You’re taking about vehicles with no CarPlay and aftermarket was shaky. Legacy navigation is a nightmare to go back to. LR Model X between 2019 and 2020. Car seats are super easy with the rear doors. Insane value currently the way luxury EVs depreciate. Not a close call IMO.

@HeerJeet @Tyler_A_Harper Going after Wall Street made sense because of the bailouts and culture rot there was clearly a rigged game. Americans admire success though. If you have Bs who share Dem values on economics, social issues, and taxes, it’s dumb to lump them in.

@mattyglesias @waitbutwhy Work in automotive and the industry is notoriously small-c conservative. Before anti-EV it was hybrids, rear cameras, airbags, seatbelts. Tesla owners, before recent Elon behavior, overwhelmingly said they will not go back to a gas car. EVs are better in most uses.

@bendreyfuss Places with higher quality tables will not send ice by default, because the glass condensation drips down and damages the porous table material with rings. I can’t tell where that is, but if that table’s not synthetic, that’s likely why.

@HumblTumbl @Stealx @AdamB1438 That was the weirdest thing to me when I went to LA was the variety of housing on a single block. In my Chicago suburb neighbors can push back on subtle aesthetic choices.

@Stealx @SeanODowd15 Could it be the original buyer demanded this feature and then backed out? I know this area and I just can’t imagine how that could happen.

@HumblTumbl @Stealx @AdamB1438 In Wilmette the neighbors would make sure they did. Zoning would get a call during the project.

@landforce The funny thing about this is all the off course golf and strength & conditioning opportunities that have been thoroughly vetted in sports where the participants spend way less money. Golf is sprinting out of the 1970s and it’s a little mind boggling.

@BorrowmanScott @AP_dreamchase Scott, do any of your guys deal with annoying wrist injuries, and how do they mitigate?

@mattyglesias Probably more fair to say they’re out of fashion in specific areas. These exist on the right.

@TheCannaUnknttr @tominco @FredericLambert Those are pretty specific definitions. What are you saying qualifies for each?

@signulll Not sure how you define self driving cars, that term is usually associated with Tesla. I have one with FSD, and use it every drive, but it would have an accident at least once a month without interventions. Things were nearly perfect is good enough will probably come first.

@FredericLambert I think this is a bad decision, but US Govt employees are expressly prohibited from expressing political opinions in email. They do not enjoy the same free speech protections they do off the clock.

@FredericLambert This is exactly right. If Optimus can do 99% if things for pizza delivery, and a teleoperator steps in where needed you are going to get a lot of use cases very quickly. Nobody dies if you make a mistake like FSD.
