Majority honesty is a commonly used security assumption in practice. This majority may not be on the number of nodes but on the amount of stakes so can defend the Sybil attack. Decentralized AI can potentially address the energy efficiency problem through some algorithm innovations that allow complex machine learning processes to be applied in resource constrained environments, e.g., lower network bandwidth.

The current agent framework architectures must not be the ultimate form of what agents should look like. The agent framework will eventually evolve by itself driven by its own model reasoning rather than relying on human programing. If we make an analogy that the model is the brain of an agent, the agent framework, e.g., #Eliza, is then the body of it that connects its brain to the external world. The nature creates animals (assuming human is also a kind of animal) by giving them bodies and brains. What an animal can do heavily relies on its body form and how functional it can be. And the animal's intelligence level would also be limited by this. Creatures experienced billions-of-years evolution to generate the excellent form of human body to accommodate the super intelligent brain. However, the agent's body is the agent framework, which is a piece of code! And code is what the large language model can generate. This means an agent should be able to reform its body through its reasoning. So who should be responsible for defining how the agent framework looks like -- the agent itself, through its brain! I believe this would be the next generation of agent and its arrival won't be too far away.
Google recently published this great whitepaper on Agents. 2025 is going to be a huge year for AI Agents. Here's what's included: - Introduction to AI Agents - The role of tools in Agents - Enhancing model performance with targeted learning - Quick start to Agents with LangChain - Production applications with Vertex AI Agents Great place to start learning about AI Agents.

Decentralization is the core spirit of the Web3 industry. Although the industry may have some focus sometime on the narratives about some new functional features that may deviate from the spirit a bit in short-term, it will circle back to the core sooner or later. Otherwise, the industry would eventually vanish.
