The first Yapper Launchpad project has been decided! @0G_labs got the most votes from all of you, and will now have a Yapper Leaderboard in 7 days time. So what happens next? Well all the projects remain for the next selection. As planned, going forward, every Mon, Wed & Fri the next projects will be selected! As communicated before, every vote is locked up for 7 days, after which you can reassign at any time (or remain). If you voted for 0G, your vote will automatically be returned 7 days after it was cast. If you voted for another project, 7 days after it was cast, you can reassign at any time. Overall - if your favorite project didn't get selected today, it's far from over 🫡

Our team recently asked for guidance on how to handle the DMs @0g_labs received about paying for the @_kaitoai yapper leaderboard. I shared that I needed to mediate on it. I shared my concern with @Punk9277. I understand the competitive nature of this space and how human optimism often drives people to participate. However, the current system favors projects with the largest budgets, which risks attracting the wrong crowd and undermines long-term sustainability. While @0g_labs is open to allocating part of our marketing budget for this campaign, our focus goes beyond simply winning. We see the value of @_kaitoai. It’s about gaining visibility into who our true contributors are. We genuinely like the idea of gaining visibility. Building strong relationships with these individuals will allow us to recognize and collaborate with them meaningfully. Creating a positive reinforcement loop for @0g_labs, as a pioneering AI Layer 1, is no small task. However, we remain committed to finding the tools and support necessary to achieve our mission and make a lasting impact in the decentralized AI space. Let’s encourage our community to vote, emphasizing our mission to establish 0G as the home for decentralized AI first: We will think about the incentive second.
