My mom outed me as a SW to my family, my sister barged into my room while I was sleeping to interrogate me when she heard the news. Since then, I have been extremely hesitant to tell people IRL out of fear. I even kept my camming a secret from people I've dated because of it.

I had a good 9-5 job before Chaturbate and I have one now currently as well, btw. I chose camming because I ENJOY it, and because I felt like I brought something fresh and exciting to the table. This career has helped me weed out the people who don't truly support me. I'm happy.

Despite everything, I can slowly feel my motivation coming back to me every day. It's amazing how one day I can let my depression completely consume me and destroy everything I've worked for, and then turn that all around within a few days. The human brain is a weird thing.

I no longer hold any resentment towards my mom or my family for outing/judging me, but it definitely still hurts even after 2+ years. Any time I find myself motivated to cam again, I talk myself down from doing so in order to avoid causing tension between myself and my family.

It's really difficult balancing the emotions of hating family members for being miserable, angry, judgmental people while also being appreciative of how they supported you financially for many years. Being grateful and yet spiteful towards your parents is such an empty feeling.
