Today marks 40 years of our Open Foyer Policy. March 13, 1983, we opened up the foyers of the Royal Festival Hall, all day, 7 days a week. Commonplace today, it was a big first step in making arts centres welcoming to the public, regardless if you had paid for a ticket or not.
