i never understood why chains want to eliminate mev yea sure get rid of sandwiching arb and liquidations are good no ? at worst they provide a lot of volume to pad metrics at best they keep defi on the chain healthy mev is wrongfully demonized because of sandwiching

@cavemanloverboy is it easier to build 48m in 100ms than it is to build 100m in 400ms? it’s not apparent to me why that would be the case — if it is, all else things equal i’m for censorship resistance / avoiding invasive surgery
