We’re moving! I’m very excited to share that I will be joining @DukeU and the BME department this fall as an Assistant Professor of the Practice with a focus on undergraduate education in biomechanics, biomaterials, and design.

@heymrsbond Disclaimer: I teach eng. I do “handouts with holes”, so diagrams and “headers” are on slides and write the actual notes with them, live. This class is mostly content and a little bit of math. Students love it and I move at a good pace because I also have to write it down.

@karisma_tenner Thanks for asking — a few reasons: - I was genuinely excited to start my postdoc with my advisor because she’s an incredible mentor and scientist - I really enjoyed my PhD - I didn’t have enough exposure to what teaching careers looked like I didn’t know what I didn’t know!
