Doctor who dies treating COVID-19 patients, denied a burial. People pelt stones at the body, block cemetery until police intervene. So shameful! We’ve become a barbaric society. I am ashamed of my country.
Is it just me or is Bombay losing its charm! The roads are packed, commuting anywhere is nightmarish, pedestrians are struggling to walk on the streets, and the city seems fatigued! Not sure if this is the quality of life anyone is looking for.
Boy, I miss the good old-fashioned ‘physical menus’! Requesting restaurants & bars to revert to pre-Covid protocols. This QR code scanning is a pain in the ass. 🙏
Note to PR professionals. Please think through your pitches. The country is on its knees. Understand the macro narrative, before pushing your micro agenda.
Our problem is cultural. Being subservient is taught to us from birth. Dissent is always looked down upon. Questioning authority is a trait of bad character. Questioning = Antinational. We have not been taught to behave like equals! Respect needs to be earned, not demanded!
India is facing its biggest humanitarian crisis since partition. The country is in shock. Our nervous system is compromised and everyone is struggling to cope. Are we the citizens, going to hold anyone accountable for this? Or, are our lives cheap? Are we angry enough?
One of the things I love most about this life is that there's no final goodbye. You know, I've met hundreds of people out here and I don't ever say a final goodbye. I always just say, "I'll see you down the road". - NOMADLAND

@Cannes_Lions
after 2 years! Super excited to meet the global creative fraternity. Indian peeps, I’ll see you there. Luck to the Indian delegation! 🥂
We have regressed & fallen so low as a society, that I am afraid there is no looking back. Our moral compass broken & our cumulative conscience dead. 2020 has been a year of revelations, it’s shown us who we really are!
The creativity of Indian news channels on Budget Day has truly stumped me! We have it all. From anchoring in the metaverse to having a panel discussion suspended in air! We’re definitely living in interesting times. 😂
Steep increase in heart attacks not just in India, but globally! Varying opinions on the causes. But surprising that neither WHO or nor governments across the globe are doing a deep dive to study this! Why are we witnessing this only in 2022?
Every hour of every day, I'm learning more
The more I learn, the less I know about before
The less I know, the more I want to look around
Digging deep for clues on higher ground in 2019!
Happy New Year peeps!

😂
I don’t know if it’s just me, but the texting to check in on you and your family, reeks of PR and inauthenticity. Most texts are generic without directly addressing the person!

This is so tragic. This is what it has come down to. India seems shackled, it needs to assert itself once again just like it did in 1947. We may recover from COVID-19, but will we recover from this?
@tinucherian
Absolutely! We need to continue working. But tweaking and thinking through the pitch is a requirement. If you are suggesting, that the pitch tone remains the same, then brands will come across as tone-deaf. I am sure you are in agreement.
This Indian fervour & so-called patriotism displayed by the diaspora in the US has always seemed a bit off to me. If you love your country so much, why on earth did you leave it? Too simplistic a question, eh? 🤔
Businessman whose firm installed billboard that collapsed in Mumbai arrested from Rajasthan's Udaipur! That’s great. But why are we ok with corrective & not preventive action? Who is to be held responsible for allowing an illegal billboard to be mounted in the 1st place?
@mybmc
The Tarun Tejpal judgement is testimony to the plight of women in this country. We continue to be repressed & suppressed even in 2021! It’s still very much a man’s world.
I find it strange that companies send out press releases on organising vaccination camps for its employees. While employees must definitely have gratitude, why are companies seeking recognition for this? Doesn’t it defeat the entire premise of, ‘We are family’?
