1/2 UPDATE!! I have joined @IITKgp CSE as an Asst. #Professor ! I will be working on how #logic and #reasoning influences #NLProc (#vision and in general #AI ). I am looking for interested students to join my group.

@nouhadziri @sog_on_bird_app We found this is a fundamental problem existing in vanilla Transformers (#ICLR #MathAI). Remember discussing this with F. Charton who suggested using larger base and modulo. We also used external tools. But, this seems to be an longstanding problem.

@Kordjamshidi Prof Jain had a very famous paper with Prof Flynn and Prof MN Murty with 20k citations. For papers from that era, this was a big thing. Prof Murty happens to be my Masters advisor

@PMinervini @Thom_Wolf Our drops are more significant then (across math and code generation datasets). 10% does not look insignificant though.

@PMinervini @Thom_Wolf I thought their work and also ours (done earlier) says in the same tone that these models do not withstand perturbations deemed easy for humans..

@PMinervini @Thom_Wolf Are these really “saturated”? People are still discovering these models can’t solve GSM8k problems robustly. OTOH Killed is a perfect influencer term! Good way to filter the noise..

You have to fear for your life if you get into Uber. Same with Ola by the way, at least in Kolkata. They came in and destroyed the yellow cab culture!
