The sheriff's office will NEVER call you to inform you of any warrants or ask for payment of fines over the phone! SCAM ALERT below...
SCAM alert! Our Office has taken at least a dozen calls from our residents who received a call from a "Lt. Perry" (who does not work for us) stating that they missed jury duty and there is a warrant for their arrest. This is a SCAM! No part of it is real. These criminals are just trying to trick you and take your money. They try to scare you into believing that unless you pay a "fine," you will be arrested. If you are ever in doubt about whether someone from the Sheriff's Office is calling you, please call our main number to verify: 303-660-7500. Lastly, we need a huge favor. Please spread the word. Tell at least five people today about this scam and others like it. This way, we can lessen the chance of people falling for the scam, which unfortunately does happen.

@DenverChannel I'm totally with Lisa Hidalgo and get rid of the turkey. I'm not a big fan at all and you can have a meal just as fantastic with Ham or Chicken!!
