Thank you Team St Margaret’s for the commitment of the staff that delivered over 480 packs with stationery to individual kids homes today to complement their Google Classroom learning and the other software platforms on offer.
Great to have children back in worship (in two halves!) as we explore ‘I am the bread of life’ and the choices we make. We actually made bread as we started our year with renewed vision ‘Care, Challenge and Celebrate with Christ’
Year 1 boys were totally unaware that these photographs were being taken. With no instruction, they chose to read! Complete magic to see children become ‘readers’ - they sat in silence and were lost in the pages ❤️

It was a delight to have Warrington Wolves in school today to deliver an assembly on the importance of resilience. It was great to welcome back ex St Margaret's pupil and first team player Danny Walker and of course the children were extremely excited to see Wolfie! 🐺
Celebrating our school music month - our summer performance. All Covid secure of course in our bubbles! Just half the school here, other half performed this morning!
Staff gave festive treats to create these wonderful hampers. They were then raffled and an amazing £500 was raised for the St Rocco's Light up a Life Appeal. The donation was made in memory of our treasured friend and dedicated colleague - Judith Harrop! Thanks to all
@StRoccos
Congratulations to our Head Boy and Head Girl, as well as our Deputy Head Boys and Girls, for their fantastic interviews with Chair of Govs & Exec Head that led to their appointments!
Our Junior Safety Officers have been out this morning, with our PCSO, to ensure parents are being considerate and safe when parking outside school. Fantastic work!

Remembrance day 2020. It's a poignant time of year, a time to honour fallen heroes and reflect upon their service and sacrifice. EYFS have been very creative with their poppies. The whole school joined in with the two minute silence at 11am
@PoppyLegion
Book club has started! Our book worms were very excited to unveil our text... we met Skander and Kenna and are already gripped! We must read Chapter 2 before next week's club!

Children came to school in their own clothes and donated chocolate in order to help local charities: Helping Hands and Warrington Foodbank. This was organised by Members of our school parliament. A big thank you to all who donated.
@Warringtonfb
Congratulations on your 70th year as our Queen. We marked this by having two days of fun, reverence, participation and joy. Our concert had guests of local residents, governors and of course our fantastic children who took us through the decades of Queen Elizabeth's reign in song
A fantastic treat for our reading council and World Book Day competition winners. An afternoon tea with special guest, local author Rob Parker. The children enjoyed talking about their favourite books, finding out about being an author and listening to Rob sharing some stories.📖
As part of our Chinese New Year celebrations Nursery listened to the story ‘The Great Race.’ They were super at remembering the animals that ran in the race and also remembered some of the positions in which they finished the race! Very well done. 😃
The nativity scene came together as Y2-Y6 sang their hearts out at the Parish School Carol Service of St Margaret’s Orford. Chapel and Young Crescendos Choirs were superb!
