Nurses & other medical professionals are burning out at alarming rates. There are beds, but there's no one to tend to the pats in them. If people don't want to be in those untended beds, they need to get the shot. They may still get sick, but not to the point of hospitalization.

It went too far. My parents were Holocaust survivors. I was appalled by her comments. But, she's apologized repeatedly. It's far more than others have done for their comments ("there were fine people on both sides"). It was a teachable moment. No suspension was necessary.
