A fair number of men in illo, who I know, only give femme illos the time of day if a) they're hot, or b) they can directly benefit said male illo's career. If have neither sexual or enough professional currency you might as well be a fucking GHOST.
To add to this: if you are a woman already committed in a relationship, or gay, it basically means you're INVISIBLE because to those types of men you're unfuckable. And that's another layer of messed up. Hate to be blunt but it's true.
