On August 1, 2014, Joe Ludlow set the IGFA All-Tackle World Record for opah with this impressive 81.99-kilogram (180-pound, 12-ounce) fish. Ludlow was fishing off Baja California, Mexico 🇲🇽 with Excel Long Range Sportfishing and needed 40 minutes to land the record opah.
